As the number of self-represented litigants in Michigan continues to rise, so does the confusion, delay, and frustration of litigants, judges, and courts.

Recently, the Michigan Supreme Court approved a set of guidelines for limited scope representation that allows for litigants to hire an attorney for specific distinct tasks rather than full representation.
