It’s Time To Get Your Ducks In A Row!

Most people put off “Estate Planning” simply because they feel it’s too complicated or too expensive, it doesn’t have to be either!  An Estate Plan usually contains a Will and/or a Trust, a quick consultation will help you determine which option will fit your needs; also included in an Estate Plan are several documents that are just as important as the will/trust: Health Care Directives and Power of Attorneys.

The first step in the process is to determine who will inherit your estate and who will act in your place if you are not able to, the next step is up to the attorney to draft the documents, final step is to sign.  If you move forward with the trust option, you will then proceed with funding the trust.

Having an Estate Plan is something that everyone should have, no matter their age; it ensures your wishes will be carried out, and your life’s accomplishments won’t be wasted.  Estate Plans can always be updated and changed, and should be revisited after major life events.
